How do you get kids interested in Forensic Science and Criminal Justice? Easy tell them the truth. With this type of juicy subject matter, the key was making the design as interesting as the topic. We designed this brochure like a real police case file, complete with red security seal. This makes it virtually impossible for a student not to rip into it. Course information was mixed in with forensic reports and we even got a retired police officer to type us up a fictional police report [yeah, we have connections]. The beauty of this piece was the complete functionality resulting in great cost efficiency. The outer folder was printed in a large quantity and since the fictional reports don’t age, the only thing needed to update the piece is a single black and white letter page explaining the courses. The end result: a single brochure that can last many years to come.
