Situation: A whole new company being kicked off by a racing event

Keyword: Branding

Adagio Graphics’ own personal trainer came to us with the proposition of a brand new company. Hmmm … create branding for a spanking new fitness institution. Licking our chops and salivating on our notepads we responded “anything we can do to help you out.” What transpired in the next couple months was nothing short of a blast. The main push was for the Oak Apple Run in Royal Oak and we made sure they had a quality showing.

Logo

The logo was the first step … it needed to have iconic quality that stood out while retaining a hint of mystery. It had to look good on anything from shirts to signage.

Sportswear

Nth Degree Sportswear also needed its own branding for a complete line of high-quality sports clothing.

Race Giveaway Items and
Free Class Cards

We next developed the Nth Degree Fitness Sweepstakes to build a mailing list of potential clients for our new little company. Race Giveaway items which doubled as sweepstake prizes were researched, imprinted and purchased … exercise balls, temporary tattoos and even an iPod® shuffle. The best giveaway being free class cards which we designed to be pocket perfect.

Tents, Exterior Banner Signage

Of course, come race day, Nth needed a venue to display all the goodies, so working with a display company, we designed bold tents to really drive home a professional feel to the organization. This was complimented by exterior banner signage posted elsewhere along the race way.

Building Facade and
Metallic Vinyl Wall Decal

Once the race was over though, that is when the real work continued in building this brand. We tackled the studio itself. Sometimes our brains get so excited that we start proposing ideas even before they are requested. Adagio took photographs of the building and then super-imposed our design ideas in photoshop. To our sheer delight, the client loved our idea and had the building built/painted to our specs. We complimented our modern building facade with metallic vinyl wall decals for the interior lobby and studio. This is a wonderfully inexpensive way to look professional and really drive home the brand.

Website

The race and the studio has gotten rave reviews (which you can see for yourself on the website we designed for them). Luckily this is only the beginning of the wonderful fairy tale as Adagio has been placed on a marketing retainer for Nth — that’s right, we’re dating! We see a glorious future of intriguing advertising, unique guerilla marketing and tight abs that would make Brad Pitt jealous.
